My thanks for sharing insightful idea was to
Global Booksearch (http://www.google.com/profiles/globalbooksearch#buzz) as it was posted on Google Buzz:
This is a classic example of Winston Churchill's wisdom: "If we do not study history we are doomed to repeat it"
Are we so buried in the overload of finding and managing bits & pieces of today's data, that the picture made up by the individual components - many historic - is so obscured by our fascination with the granularity of today, that we virtually see nothing except our own image in the mirror?
It seems that the unintended consequences of many major actions become more important than the initial action itself! It is as if, many decision makers believe they are in a vacuum, devoid of history. So we repeat the drill. Yes, in slightly different circumstances, w/new characters, in different countries, but, the forward progress should be assessed as unacceptably slow. P.S.: I must express that excessive pressures of speedy changes are drastic for human life and nervous system and thus are spelling and other grammatical mistakes, is not it. Thanks!
