The Many Uses for Forensic DNA Testing
Forensic DNA testing requires the analysis of thirteen different specters often called loci. Different loci will be tested depending upon the actual DNA data extracted from the crime scene. This composite of DNA test samples is actually quite accurate in pinpointing the individual bearing that genetic composition. The result of the sampling is referred to as the individual's DNA footprint.
